How would i build my own foaming brush like ones you would use at a car wash?

You would need something to pump the suds into a hose, and then attach that to the hollow handle and brush head.
Probably looking at several hundred $ to build one. You might try contacting one of the car washes in your neighborhood and find out where they get their supplies.
I have seen a rotary brush that holds a reservoir of soap and attaches to your hose.

How much do you spend at the car wash each visit?
Aug 21, 2009 by BlueCollarMan | Posted in Other - Cars & Transportation
A acquaintance wants me to invest in a new car wash he's building, but we have wildly different ideas on what the potential income might be. So,asking a few people- I discovered that everyone seems to have differing idea's on what is " normal" to spend at a car wash.
Nothing, I wouldn't let any of those people near my car with a sponge.
DIY, then you know the job's done properly.

$5-10 for the quick wash, maybe $20-30 for a "whole package." I prefer to wash my cars by hand when possible though.

I spend as little as possible and I have noticed a big down turn at all the major car washes lately, and I do mean a big one. Many people are looking for every way they can save and not just a dollar at a time and they are not having others wash their car as much now as they were.I see two different kinds of washes. First is the old kind that leave tiny almost unnoticeable scratches in your paint because they use the cloth to rub the dirt off and little tiny rocks have been left in the fabric. Then the touch less which if you wait to long will not get any where near all the dirt off.

The majority of my friends have cars and not one uses a car wash. I dislike them and prefer to use my own equipment.

make sure you start from the ground and work up-be sure too that you have the drawings right-side up.

First, you'll need to start with your township. There, you will need to supply a rough plan, along with how it will be layed out on your property. Be thorough! Show all your measurements & details of what you plan to do. If the land is zoned for commercial use & they agree, you can then start spending money on an archcitect to properly design your building. Good luck!!

How to I remove the paste marks on my car from an old bumper sticker?
May 26, 2009 by sonofliberty101 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I removed one recently, and there is now an unsightly rectangular paste mark left on my bumper, which now has dirt building up on it, and is a total eyesore. Had I known it was going to be this bad I never would have put the sticker on. I have tried scraping and I have tried various car wash products and nothing has worked. Is there anything I can do to remove this paste residue completely without taking the paint off?
