Polish Village Enacts Unique Punishment on Speedy Driver
21.05.12
Villagers in Poland annoyed by the reckless antics of a speedy driver concocted their own unique style of revenge to teach the 24-year-old driver a lesson. Forgoing the typical method of leaving a note or, perhaps, speaking to the driver directly, residents of Lubczyna, Poland, instead placed the driver’s car atop a tree. U.K. newspaper The Mirror reports that when the driver, Zbigniew Filo, walked out the door to take his white Ford Escort for a drive, he found it instead hoisted to the top of a willow tree. “We received a call from a man saying his car was stuck in a tree, and that his neighbors had put it there,” a police spokesman told the Mirror. Filo had reportedly been driving his Escort recklessly throughout the village for months, and without a driver’s license, so villagers decided to take action. “Perhaps he’ll think twice about his hair-raising driving and about getting a license or who knows where his next car might end up?” one neighbor told the paper.

car polish?
Jun 18, 2007 by kristin t | Posted in Pontiac
is nufinish car polish good for a 2006 pontiac montana sv6 the finish is dull on my car
first claybar it. that will get all of the dirt out of your paint, and make it feel like a baby's butt. then use a polish to get it to shine. I recomend Zymbol. and then make sure you seal it all up with a good wax. if you dont mind waxing once a month use a Carnuba, i recomend S100 from a harley dealership. if you dont like to wax that often then get a good Synthetic wax like Mothers Sythetic, or Meguires Tech Wax.
good luck, and if you dont seal the polish your going to have the same problem in about a year.

I think you should take your NEW car back to the dealer and have them take a look at the finish. Unless your car has been exposed to some very unusual environmental elements your cars finish should still look close to new. Perhaps the mfg had a problem with the color that was applied to your car.
Your good dealership will help you if there is a problem with the finish from the original mfg.
As far as nufinish polish. Its a good product; just be sure you follow all the directions.

How to polish a car using Meguiar products without leaving the round wax/polish signs?
Jun 30, 2010 by gabi | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
My friend detailed his car and when its sunny outside you can see round marks, not damaged paint, just circles of wax/polish. Is it because he didn't use a foam pad at the end? Can someone explain a correct car polishing process using Meguiar products?
1: wash car: hopefully you already know that this does
2. clay car -this removes contaminants stuck to the paint, that normal washing wont get off. You can also clay your windows/wheels etc. I suggest Meguiars smooth surface clay kit.
3. Paint cleaners(aka polishes): These remove oxidation/scratches/stains/etc. They have no protection at all. Different strengths for different paints. I suggest starting with Meguiars Swirlx, and if needed, then step up to Meguiars ultimate compound. Apply in a 16x16 in. section with a microfiber applicator. Work it in for about a minute and wipe off immediately with microfiber towel. Inspect results, repeat or move up to a more aggressive product. Switch to a new pad after every couple of panels, since product and paint will build up in the pad, making them less affective.
4. Pure Polish: These help the paint shine by adding oils to the paint. But do not add protection either. Work best on darker colors and cars with single stage paints. But can still work good on lighter colored cars. Its really optional, since the paint cleaners mentioned above have polishing oils in them. But if you have single stage paint, then definitely use it. Use meguiars deep crystal polish, or their #7 polish. Just kind of message them into the paint, in a 16x16 in. section for about 40 seconds. then wipe off immediately. These can be a real pain to remove.
5: wax: locks in polish, adds protection and shine. Apply using microfiber applicator and spread a thin even layer all over your car, not getting any on plastic/vinyl/pourous surfaces ( itll stain). Let it dry to a haze (usually 15-20 minutes) then wipe off with microfiber towel. Suggest meguiars nxt 2.0 tech wax or their gold class wax.
course it works best if you do everything in the shade

Armor All. Yup they are they best brand to ever use on any car. Since your using a sportsy car. Look at their website. I believe wax is the better product then having to polish because polishing is just removing small scratches, rust and such while wax provides a protective shield. http://www.armorall.com/products/view_pr oduct.php?product_id=20&main_group=0 &category_index=wash_wax

How do you remove dried car polish?
Mar 24, 2010 by Nick | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I recently used Nu Finish to polish my car, some of the polish built up in little cracks in the body, mainly around the door handles, and dried on white. How do you remove it?
toothbrush,
If it doesn't work, try putting on more nu finish on the old polish then get it all out. Like removes like
Quick detailer may also be worth a shot,
and I heard rumors about peanut butter for wax residue..
