Ryko is also helping customers drive wash counts with a new Clean Touch brand retail car wash merchandising campaign.
Ryko Solutions Inc., a North American manufacturer of car wash equipment and a provider of chemical, managed maintenance and marketing services to help customers build a more profitable car wash, has been awarded a distributorship to market the Turtle Wax professional brand of auto appearance products throughout the U.S. and Canada.
“Bringing Turtle Wax into our portfolio for the customer strengthens the options in our revolutionary CleanTouch cents per wash program, a single price, no hassle car wash chemical distribution and consumer marketing program that we are introducing to owner operators,” said Steven L’Heureux, CEO of Ryko Solutions. “Through this program, customers will have the opportunity to select from Ryko’s proprietary line of chemicals or opt for an upgraded program that includes clear coat products and polishes like ICE Instant Shine from Turtle Wax, a brand readily recognized and trusted by consumers for total finish shine and protection.”

What kind of chemicals do the car wash people use when detailing a car? Specfically the carpet?
Jan 28, 2010 by Kristine R | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I am trying to clean a car carpet that is absolutely disgusting. Plain soap and water isnt doing much! I am planning on taking out all the seats and I want some kind of heavy duty industrial cleaner that I can spray it down with and then scrub it with a stiff brush. Any ideas? There is ground in food, grease, dried up stuff, etc. I would just replace it but I want to try cleaning it first.
Well really matters upon the dillution and branded stuff. Some may be harsh while others can be mild. But be sure you use the correct requirement for your car else its paint will not remain original. Try out http://www.bayescleaners.com/products/Wa terless-Car-Wash.html if you want some good car wash.

Try Oreck pet stain remover with HOT water. Let soak and use a very stiff brush. That would be your best bet.

Liquid OXI-CLEAN mixed with some water works great on carpet!

How much should i charge for a car wash?
May 17, 2008 by here_4_1_day | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
A neighbor wants me to wash his car for him. It is a honda civic. I will be using my own car washing supplies. I will wash the car by hand with ArmorAll chemical. Then wax with Turtle Wax. Then i plan to clean the rims with ArmorAll, and then use a tire shine. How much should i charge for it?
who the f**k gave all these answers thumbs down?! Loser!
I would say around 50-60 bucks.Do not use turtle wax it might be one of the oldest car waxes but it is one of the worst.I use mothers carnuba wax in the can(not the bottle) this stuff works great and will give a MUCH BETTER shine.Make sure you wipe out the door jams and wash the windows because it will not look right if you do not. This just brings a much better look to the cars exterior.Just remember hit every spot and rub the wax in with a little pressure but not to much.

80 -100 including under the hood. And u better not miss a spot.

You should be paying your neighbor $20 for the exterior. But if you plan to clean the interior, charge $25 more dollars. To make more money, try cleaning trucks and vans, make sure you charge extra.

How do I remove car wash stains from my car's paint?
Jan 13, 2009 by John H | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Have cloudy stains on my black paint from the touchless car wash. Looks like soap got under the pads of my bike rack and sat on the paint long enough to stain. Tried polish, etc., but it's not coming off....any suggestions? It appears to be a chemical stain...
use a fine cutting compound and a buffer pad on your electric drill don't use excess force let drill do all the work.

Rubbing compound and elbow grease, and some buffing pads

I want to try riding my bike through a car wash for the fun of it but what temperature is the water and does it spray chemicals?
Sorry when I say chemicals I mean the flesh burning type.
Dude.... That doesn't sound like fun. Sounds like second degree burns.
This particular car wash keeps their water at 120 degrees.

My best guess is that typically the soap and polish are pretty mild so that they can hit all kinds of paint jobs and plastic and rubber and metal without damaging cars.
Hope this helps,
James

The car wash sprayed my chrome rims with some kind of cleaner and now they are stained. What can I do?
May 23, 2007 by Josh D | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I thought the rims were polished aluminum, but I looked online and it says they are chrome. Is it more likely that they are aluminum if it had a chemical reaction like that? It doesn't seem to wanna rub off and it looks terrible. Any suggestions?
sounds like they used a strong solution, and you most likely have polished aluminum, go to the car wash owner or manager and ask if their detail dept. can make it better.
