My old shop was a gas station service bay I rented from the owners of the gas station. My compressor supplied the air for the air hose. Basically it was my responsibility to maintain the air hose and nozzle. It used to get cut off, broken, unscrewed, anything that could be done was done to break it. After a while I just stopped repairing it. The hose alone cost $200 every time they cut it, the air nozzle cost like $30-$40. It just wasn't worth it for me to repair it. That's why the don't ever seem to work.

they passed a law requiring all gas stations to supply air and water to customer for free a while back (10 years), when joe cheap azz from india went to self serve and stopped providing that service. by law, all gas stations must supply free air and water to customers , that's why they give you free tokens if you ask,, and then charge non customers to use them.

How much would it cost to fix a vacuum leak in a car?
May 04, 2009 by Angelgurl80 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I have a 2001 saturn lw300 station wagon.I need some estimates does anyone know?if so, please let me know.
If it is just a vacuum hose, the cost will be minimal if you can locate the leak and replace the tube yourself.
If a barbed connector or vacuum component is broken or faulty, it will cost a bit more.
It is impossible to tell from this. The problem will be in locating the leak, and depending where it is could greatly affect the price to repair it.

...50 cents to 500 dollars...whats leaking? a little piece of black hose or a master brake cylinder

97 taurus bleeding anti-lock brakes won't bleed even using vacuum pump FL and RR tires won't bleed how to fix?
Jul 26, 2010 by Marcus | Posted in Ford
1997 Ford Taurus Station wagon with anti-lock brakes has 4 wheel disc replaced all 4 calipers and rear break lines I can't bleed Right Front brake or Left Rear brake. Tried bleeding from the farthest caliper to the nearest and have also use a vacuum pump to try to bleed but brake reservoir does not go down.
Any help would be Greatly helpful
My best advice is to find a shop that has a power bleeder and pay them to bleed the brakes for you.
