TimeMD.com is pleased to announce the availability of GPS based time tracking options. Now clients and partners of the TimeMD.com platform have the ability to know the exact location a time punch was made.
For years clients of PEO’s (Professional Employer Organization) and payroll companies have been frustrated with the lack of inexpensive tools to help track a distributed labor force. This is particularly true for those with clients that have on-site service personnel, contractors and home care workers. Some have implemented costly systems that involve the distribution and management of proprietary hardware. According to TimeMD.com President Erik Rowland, today’s business owners are in desperate need for an inexpensive solution.
“With today’s economy, managing labor is critical to a company’s bottom line. Verifying the location of your distributed labor force is absolutely essential to maintaining profitability,” says Rowland. “With a distributed labor force, it becomes almost impossible especially if no one is on site to confirm they’re actually on the job.”
Leader in Vehicle Tracking Software, Track Your Truck, Provides Tools for ...
21.05.12
February 26, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- GPS tracking is widely considered an effective way to monitor and observe company property and employee behavior. When devices are placed discretely, an employer can get a better sense of what happens when vehicles are in the field. Track Your Truck, known for its GPS devices and vehicle tracking software , provides businesses with the tools they need for professional, discrete monitoring.
"When you can see where your trucks have been, you can identify unusually long idle times and unwanted deviations from assigned routes," said Robert Hall, president of Track Your Truck. "With discrete tracking, employers obtain more accurate insight regarding how their workers really use company time. A company can significantly reduce expenses by eliminating unwanted employee behavior."
Track Your Truck offers a range of devices that can be discretely placed in a vehicle. All include internal antennas for concealed installation. Real-time tracking options allow a company to oversee inventory at all hours in order to prevent unauthorized use. With Track Your Truck's vehicle tracking software, NetTrack, a fleet manager can monitor vehicle speed, direction of travel and location on an easy-to-use map. The software is Web-based, meaning a company can access the information from any computer with an Internet connection.

Where can I find the GPS tracking device on my car?
Sep 11, 2009 by Matt A | Posted in Car Audio
I bought it off of my former boss and I know for a fact it is there. Unfortunatly we aren't on good terms anymore and I can't find out where it is. I know they can hide them on your car but this one actually tells him every time the ignition is started. That should narrow it down to a few areas right? This is very important, he has the ability to steal business from me with this.
Yes, take it to a shop, they'll know where to look, or at the very least be able to refer you to someone who can do it for you.

go to a good shop. there it is.

You can look it up on the internet if its a stock item or go to your neighborhood car alarm installation shop . The tracking device is installed on Lo-jack or On-star which is generally a stock item. But their are other after market systems .I don't think you'll have a hard time finding it. Good luck and keep us posted.

Where to find a hidden gps in car?
Feb 25, 2009 by TVL | Posted in Car Audio
I have a Ford Explorer Sport and need to know where I can look for a hidden gps. Boyfriend has them on business trucks to keep track of his employees and he also seems to know my every move. Unnerving, please help.
I would start at the fuse box. If it has been there for awhile, your car is probably powering it. It he put it in without you knowing, he probably had to work fast. Look for anything that doesn't look right. Wires that are out of place, different color or thickness. If you find anything, you can just trace the wires. It really depends on how determined someone is to not get caught, a gps could really be anywhere. If you are having doubts, ask if he put one on your car and just gauge his reaction.

We put a lot of our GPS's in the front or back bummpers in cars. it's more then likely not going to be under the car or under the hood gps cant transmit through metal so look for plastic or fiberglass places with a good view of the sky.

If there is a gps unit hidden in your car for any length of time it has to have a power source. It has to be connected to power, unless your boyfriend is removing the unit and replacing it frequently in which case it can operate on it's own battery power.
Look behind the front and rear bumpers under the rubber section that is painted. Take your car for an oil change or inspection and ask the attendant to look in those places as well as look for an extra wire connected to the battery.
Personally I would end any relationship I had with anyone spying on me.

How to use a GPS system to track a vehicle.?
Nov 15, 2008 by Jacko | Posted in Other - Cars & Transportation
My business concept requires use of GPS, specifically I will need GPS devices to track and record a vehicle's travelling info: what streets and roads it travelled on, time spent on each of those roads, time of day spent on those roads, date spent on those roads, etc. I would also need to export this data to excel or access for calculations to be made. Who would I go to find out more info? Who would I go to to get this done? How much would it cost? How would it work? How would I download the recorded info to my computer?
I'd start here. http://www.navtrak.net/ Contact them and see if they can help you out.

LoJack and Omega GPS2000: Which is better?
Mar 24, 2009 by Candygirl | Posted in Safety
both have their pros and cons. Can't I just get both? (do you have to pay monthly for either of em or is it just a 1-time thing?)
I heard of a tracking gps that went out of business because it was overcharging and nobody wanted to buy it, and it was similar to the omega. I cant remember what it was, does anyone know?
thank you!!
I don't know of any GPS tracking systems that went out of business but just from past experiences the LoJack is your better unit overall plus from what I have been reading the Omega GPS2000 can be disabled with little difficulty and yes you will need to pay a yearly service charge..

GPS SYSTEM HELP ME PICK!?
Sep 23, 2009 by Emmett | Posted in Car Audio
Ok, so I've got three GPS's that all look fairly promising, and I need help deciding which one, or if there is a better one. There is the Go 740 Live, and PRO 8000 by TomTom, and the Nuvi 465T by Garmin.
I travel around on business quite a bit, so I need something reliable, and that will save me money gas wise.I also want something that can track my vechicle, so that way I can always find it.
If you own any of the three systems above, can you give me a little feed back? Or if you have a better GPS system, then share that!
Thanks
I have 2 garmin's, a old quest and a new Nuvi. The units are very nice, have lots of features and on the whole work well, however the 2009 version of the garmin maps SUCK. It has got me lost more than once. At this point I would not recommend them. the older maps (2007 version) were much better, while they were missing new construction around my location, directions were much more reliable, i upgraded both to the 2009 version earlier this year and these are still missing some now old construction and don't get me to the same places the 2007 maps did.
