I have a 1983 Camaro with a 2.8L V6 and i'm looking to get the dynomax cat-back kit and im wondering if anyone has heard or know how the super turbo mufflers will sound on my car
Thanks
or how will a flowmaster 80 series sound
On a V6, it'll sound like a coffeecan full of pissed-off bumblebees.

If you are going to go with the Flowmaster, go with the 40 series for a deeeeep throaty sound. Lots of good growl out of them. Don't get me wrong Dynomax makes a good system too. Either on should get the desired sound from your car.

Sound of Dynomax mufflers?

How do the Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers sound?? Does anybody know from experience?
I own a shop, a race car & truck, and think this; I have an 80 Malibu with a built 350 engine in it. It has headers routed into a set of Dynomax mufflers with an H pipe, and dual exhausts going out just behind the rear wheels. The sound is awesome, and the harder I stand on the gas pedal, the better they sound. I think the sound is near equal to Flowmaster 40's. It has this sweet growl to them that sounds better & better the more I stand on the gas pedal. They sound good when driving normal, but since I like the sound, I stand on the gas pedal quite often while going through the gears with the windows down. I just can't seem to get enough of that sweet sound. When the engine is at idle speed, I can listen to the lick the cam makes, and its sweet music to my ears. I guess one could say they sound really good. It is a little different sound than what the Flowmasters would make (not as loud), but that growl it has when going through the gears is just awesome.
Glad to help out, good Luck!!!

Go full exhaust:
I agree with the users regarding Flowmaster.
40 series:
The original flowmaster, Powerful agressive tone.
Noticable interior resonance.
50 series:
Mellow deep sound, Quieter than 40 series.
Mild interior resonance.
70 series:
Mellow street sound,the quietest Flowmaster.
Lowest level on interior resonance.
Delta Flow:
Mild performance sound, deep or mellow tones depending on engine.
Minimal interior resonance.
If you do not perfer any of these I'd go with either an Dynomax or Edelbrock system. But if your stuck on getting the pak's then I'd go DYNOMAX.
