Was covering the launch and Land Rover’s announcement that Victoria Beckham had been appointed a design consultant for the firm, and we know that she wasn’t hired to make the cars more appealing to the farmer and safari audience.
Opening the door, I was treated to an amazing cockpit. It could even be called futuristic: the skylight extends from just above the front passenger compartment to nearly the liftgate. The seats are lower than I expected, which made me a bit uneasy after driving the Discos. The side glass extends clear to the rear passenger area. The waistline is also high, making the windows smaller compared to the huge one I am used to.
Once I had adjusted the driver’s seat to my liking, I found the feel of the wheel and placement of the controls to be so similar I was at home in an instant. The front seats are generously bolstered, giving you a feeling of being cradled in a snug-fitted custom seat. The bolstering would come in handy as I found out later while taking curves at speeds I would never do in my LR3—but maybe in the LR2!

If you are going to go with the Flowmaster, go with the 40 series for a deeeeep throaty sound. Lots of good growl out of them. Don't get me wrong Dynomax makes a good system too. Either on should get the desired sound from your car.

I need help with muffler?
Jan 09, 2009 by youfreakinnoob | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I bought a DynoMax Super Turbo Muffler. There is no instructions in the box and I need to know if the inlet side is the one that is centered or if the offset side is the inlet.
the off-set side is the inlet.

not sure which model of turbo muffler you have, but usually turbo mufflers can be installed in either direction, they are very basically a straight through muffler bent internally into an S with fiberglass packed around it, there are no baffles so it will flow just fine in either direction

Hi if you look on the muffler it has a arrow on it shows you inlet that goes to your pipes and the outlet is your exit out the back.if you have one centered and one side offset the center is to your pipes i gave you links to look and learn.Mufflers have a flapper inside which prevents the flow of air in one direction only.

I went to a local performance shop to ask about putting an aftermarket muffler on my '95 2.2L Cav. I told them that I wanted something with a better sound but wasn't too loud. They suggested a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler. They said they'd get me one and install for a total of around $80. Will this sound good or should I go with something else???
Everyone says that this is an excellent muffler of good quality and sound. Is this true???

I was thinking of cutting my super big muffler and replace it with the cherry bomb turbo muffler. I heard its not the best but its cheap, so iam down, i know it will make a big diffrence since my stock muffler is like 3 feet long i mean its huge, so how much should i power gain should i be getting with one of those, i have a 2002 toyota echo, just wana play around with it a bit, any sugestions on what size of inlet and outlet i should be getting for maximum preformace, and do i need some sort of sillencer?
