Suddenly, the underdog was the perfect candidate to play Superman; Yeley who claims he was “just trying to do Kenseth a favor” pushed the driver through Turn 3 of the final lap before backing off. The problem, of course, is that’s a NASCAR no-no; the mistake left Kenseth penalized, the first car one lap down in 21st but raised suspicion Yeley might have been asked to help, as the principles involved simply forgot the last-lap “no push” rule was still in existence. I got a 1981 buick regal with an Olds 307. I'm Gradually replacing engine parts and bought and had installed an Edelbrock #7111 performer RPM intake manifold and #1406 4 bbl electric choke carb. Then replaced mechanical OE fuel pump and installed a Spectre fuel filter, Edelbrock air cleaner, Edelbrock valve covers. Flowmaster true dual 40 series exhaust.
sounds like your idle might be set to low did you tune the carb when you put it on your vehicle there is an idle adjustment screw on the carberator.
