If you are purchasing your air filters from your local home improvement store, you could be making your allergies worse! Experts contend that we are experiencing one of the most dangerous allergy seasons in decades for those who suffer from allergies and asthma. Choosing the best air filter for your home protects your family from pollen and pet dander that can trigger intense symptoms for allergy sufferers. The fiberglass air filters sold in home improvement stores are usually rated at a less than 7 MERV rating. MERV is a rating used in the air filtration industry to measure the ability of an air filter to reduce small particles like dust, pollen and dander in the air. MERV is an acronym that stands for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value. The higher the rating, the smaller the particles the filter removes from your indoor air.
Cummins Reveals New QSF2.8 Engine with 49 to 74 HP at INTERMAT
Today revealed the new QSF2.8 engine with 49- to 74-horsepower (37-55 kW) output at the INTERMAT show in Paris. The 4-cylinder, 2.8-liter engine was displayed with a fully passive Cummins Compact Catalyst aftertreatment system, designed to meet U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final and EU Stage IIIB low-emissions regulations taking effect in 2013.The QSF2.8 is the smallest engine to be introduced by Cummins for the off-highway industry with full-authority electronic controls driving a High Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) fuel system. This capability brings the premium-performance characteristics associated with larger Cummins engines to compact equipment below 75 hp (56 kW) for the first time.
Cummins electronics drive the HPCR system to enable multiple fuel injection events with over 1600 bar (23,000 psi) pressure capability, achieving cleaner combustion with improved fuel efficiency. All key engine parameters are constantly monitored and engine performance is optimized according to equipment operating conditions.

Note that parasitic elements associated with the filter components, including inter-winding terminal capacitance and capacitor ESR, can significantly affect
This can cause heat to accumulate in the backlighting area, damaging the liquid crystals, the colour filter and – not least – the leds. and more »
