Formula 1: Ferrari Unseal Brand New Challenger Online

“From a technical point of view, we have many novelties in terms of mechanics and also the shape of the car.”
“We wanted continuity here, and hopefully we will reach the right performance.” Hindustan Times
Ferrari boss Stefano Domenicali has admitted that the F2012 is “not really so pretty” - but has insisted that won’t matter if it proves a winner rather than a looker.
A radically-different design compared to its predecessors, the new Ferrari features a distinctive - some would say ‘ugly’ - platypus’ nose and the reaction to its unveiling has been dominated by aesthetic concerns rather than debate about its potential competitiveness.
“Actually it’s not really so pretty from my personal perspective, but this is a value that doesn’t count in F1,” declared a defiant Domenicali.
“These choices are from both technical regulation constraints and the choices to try to maximise the performance of the car. The fact that it’s ugly or very nice doesn’t count a lot, the most important thing is the car has to be performing.” SkySports
Barrichello Completes Successful Test With KV Racing Technology
23.02.12
Rubens Barrichello apparently was having so much fun driving the No. 5 KV Racing Technology car that he decided to stay an extra day.
The Formula One veteran was scheduled to leave Sebring International Raceway after testing Jan. 30-31 of the new Dallara DW12 chassis powered by Chevrolet’s 2.2-liter, twin-turbocharged V-6 engine. He canceled an appointment in Brazil to get in more laps Feb. 1 before turning over the No. 11 entry to longtime friend Tony Kanaan for the remainder of the session.
“It’s been a really good morning,” said Barrichello, who totaled 334 miles over the three days. “I was able to do a lot of laps in Tony’s car and very happy to be in the No. 11. It’s been my favorite number all my life. My feedback I think will be very beneficial to Tony and the whole team and I am satisfied with what we have achieved. I leave Sebring now with a good taste in my mouth.”
Barrichello’s smile at the completion of the first two days was an apt display of the sense of accomplishment. He had positive thoughts about the car, the atmosphere of the IZOD IndyCar Series and his abilities after a four-month layoff.

If i take out a short term car insurance cover (28 days) Will I gain 1 years NCB?
Sep 24, 2008 by eyeball_999 | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I had an accident 6 weeks after I renewed my car insurance, if I was to get a short term cover (from norwich union etc..) for 2 lots of 28 days (renewing it after the first 28 days) would I then gain 1 years NCB?
The only reason i'm asking is because the cost of renewal last year was £450, this years renewal the cheapest I found was £1300!!!
No.
You will get one year's No Claims Bonus after having a valid insurance policy for 12 months, without making a claim.
Twisted_Ace | Sep 24, 2008
No - that would be silly every new driver would do it.
katt121 | Sep 24, 2008
How exactly does 2 x 28 days equal a Years NCD?
Fellside13 | Sep 24, 2008
1 years no claims discount is exactly what it states. You have to be insured for 1 whole year before you are entitled to any discount at all. I thought that this would have been obvious.
Tango | Sep 24, 2008
No
oldfart | Sep 24, 2008
No, I don't think so.

56 days does not equal 365 days!

Do I need 1 day car insurance?
Sep 24, 2009 by Dave Vanz | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I found this site - http://www.1day-carinsurance.co.uk/ - now I am confused. I am driving my friend to Gatwick airport in his car and then driving it home, where it will sit on my Drive until i pick him up again. I thought I would be covered by my insurance policy to drive his car third party. The site said that my insurance might no cover me as a lot of companies have dropped this type of cover. Is this true? I don't mind taking out one day insurance but i don't want to waste money that could be spent down the pub. Anyone know about insurance? I am with Norwich Union at the moment. Ta.
I think Katie is correct. On the insurance facts page on the same site (http://www.1day-carinsurance.co.uk/car-i nsurance-facts.html) it says
'Read your insurance small print. Many companies have changed the conditions of their fully comprehensive car insurance. In some cases you are no longer insured to drive another car third party. This they say is to cut the cost of premiums. If you find out your company has done this, then at least you are at the right site and can find a company that offers 1 day insurance.' Don't ask why i was reading insurance facts - i am bored at home today.
Thanks Katie.
I looked at http://www.1day-carinsurance.co.uk as suggested. The facts page is sort of interesting in a weird nerdy way.
Why don't you just ring your insurance company up? It might be a bit quicker and you might get an accurate answer.

You need to check your policy, it used to be that if you were insured fully comp on your car you could drive others 3rd party, but now that isn't the standard I think you have to specify you want that when you take out the policy and it costs more, not all companies do it anymore. Depends when you got your insurance policy and what is included, if you aren't covered you will need 1 day cover.

When I go looking for replacement car insurance is a quite simple way to save or lower overall expenses. You can get a easy quote online they often give you lots of prices.

If this is a UK question, then no, under the road traffic act, the vehicle must be insured.
When the Police started removing uninsured vehicles off the road, people were getting their mates to go and collect the car on their insurance.
To drive a vehicle belonging to someone else to secure its release following seizure by, or on behalf of, any government or public authority is an offence and would not be covered.

Car insurance temp cover- I sometimes buy cars and sell them on for a small profit, is there insurance company
Jan 25, 2007 by Trisha | Posted in Buying & Selling
that I can go to and get a 1 day cover for the car I'm going to buy or will it be cheaper to get insurance for myself to drive any car, is this possible, also if I wanted to buy and sell cars all the time do I have to have a special licence to do this? thanks
What people have failed to point out is that the law has changed. At one time of day you could take out fully comprehensive cover and then be insured to drive someone else's car third party fire or theft.
Due to people taking advantage of this and insuring say a Ford Focus fully comp then driving say a Porsche under the third party rule thus saving themselves thousands of pounds in insurance costs.
Most of the insurance companies no longer allow third party use on there policies and others are following suit. And the law has been changed also to plug the loophole. Only insurance companies aren't telling there customers this and like me they find out to there cost too late.
Also it is against the law to sell cars at the road side now, even if it's just a one off and the police are clamping down on rogue traders who do so.
To stay on the right side of the law you require a trading license and insurance. Unfortunately this is going to cost you a lot of money and unless you can swallow the costs or incorporate them into your pricing when selling a car then being a small time dealer isn't worth your while or the heavy fines or even prison sentence you could end up with.
All the best Andrew D
