Loans.org Helps Consumers Afford Auto Loans by Detailing a Responsible Savings ...

Taking out an affordable auto loan is imperative to saving and maintaining a healthy budget. Loans.org offers an explanation on a budget plan that can be used by all current and prospective car loan borrowers.
Rancho Cucamonga, CA (PRWEB) February 21, 2012
Borrowers often wonder how much of their income should be devoted toward a monthly vehicle payment. If this amount undershot, borrowers may wind up with a vehicle they never wanted. If they overestimate the amount they can afford, borrowers may find themselves tied down with expensive auto loans that restrict their financial freedom for years to come. In the worst cases, an overestimation can lead to repossession and a severe blow to one’s credit. In order to help borrowers avoid such scenarios, Loans.org has published a new article informing prospective financers how to establish a budget.
One safe, secure and responsible approach is to use the 50/30/20 plan. Touted in Elizabeth Warren’s book, “All Your Worth,” the 50/30/20 plan divides expenditures into three categories: needs, wants and savings. While originally made for debt management and avoiding bankruptcy, the plan is a wonderful tool to determine how much to devote toward a car loan.

First time car for a 17 year with insurance what would be your budget!?
Jul 01, 2009 by buysboy | Posted in Insurance & Registration
My daughter has just passed her test today. She is looking for a car and insurance how much would I give her as a budget to spend to cover the insurance and car. She will pay for petrol with her own money.
Car type - Have a look here http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/
Giver her an idea of different types of car - See what she likes and what she can get for the budget
You'd need around 1000 to get any decent first car
Personally I'd suggest a either a 1 litre VW polo - around a 00' model
Or
Peugeot 206 1.1 or 1.3 - Look Fantastic - especially the 3dr - Girls Love them too
Both look great - are easy to insure - and a lot easier to resell then a kia suzuki or other 1 litres

It all depends. Are you buying the car out right or are you financing? This also affects the insurance. If you are financing you have to get full coverage, which for a 17 year old can get pretty high.

Depends on the car, because she is female it'll be cheaper. Aim for a car with a smaller engine and less BHP, such as a Ford Ka or similar. You're probably then looking at about £1200 for insurance, and that's on the cheap side.
Direct Line are usually best for cheaper insurance for young drivers.

Well your lookin at something cheap but relible, the insurance group must be 1 and your looking at the insurance costing around £1,500 but it could be cheaper if you put your car on your parents insurance.
Hope it helps ;]

£2000 budget for both car and years' insurance.

Impossible question as we have no idea what your resources are! If it were me I would be looking at the type of car first, then seeing how much I could shell out without too much pain. I bought my daughter a new Citroen C1 because of the safety features (esp), amazingly low fuel consumption and group one insurance. Citroen dealers are desperate and offer the best discounts. But as I say it's what you can afford.

Please do not let her buy a junker! At 17, she doesn't need anything fancy, but if you let her buy a junker then she will end up putting all her money into paying for repairs! Try to find a late 90s model car that has good crash rating and dependability ratings. If you buy something new (such as the popular Cobalt) you will pay through the roof on insurance, even though it isn't a sports car. Before I bought by own car I was driving my dad's F250 deisel pickup, but your teen probably has no reason to be driving a big truck or an SUV, so try to stay away from these gas guzzlers! Have your daughter take a behind the wheel course, even though she has her lisence, to reduce insurance costs. My parents made me get a job and buy my own car at that age, but they covered the insurance. Paying more than the minimum on my loan cost around $150 each month, plus I put about $50 away each month into a routine/emergency repair fund. Also I had to pay for all the fun stuff such as inspection. Good luck and be safe!

At least £2500 but £3000 would be better if she is to have a decent reliable motor

Does Progressive have an option to cover insurance if I rent a car ('cause I didn't see it on their website)?
Jan 24, 2010 by white_fang92 | Posted in Insurance & Registration
Hi, I'm looking to rent a car. Now, I know that the optional car insurance offered by these car rental companies like Budget and Enterprise are pretty expensive. But I am renting a car because I don't have a car (renting for short term usage) and I have never had one, which means that I never have had car insurance.
I was on the Progressive website to "get a free quote/buy" but one of the many questions they ask is what car do I have and also if I'm : 1) leasing it 2) own it, but make payments (installments, rather), and 3) own it, but don't make payments. The last two options don't apply to me, although would renting a car qualify as leasing it? If so, what "kind of car" should I put in since I have no idea what the specific make of car that will be available for me to rent. Or is this something I fill out after I rent the car (but of course, rentals won't give away a car if the customer doesn't show proof of being covered by car insurance).
If you didn't notice, this is the first time I'm going about these things. One last question while I'm on this topic--I currently have health insurance through the Blue Shield Blue Cross company. I heard Progressive also provides health insurance, so would it be cheaper if I had to take health insurance as well as auto insurance from Progressive/a similar company that specializes in auto insurance but also offers health insurance?
Please help me. Thanks so much in advance!
it tells you in the contract they sent you with the bill

It is safe to say that nearly everything about managing customer specific requirements is a hassle. If you're an auditor, how do you know what customer specific requirements exist so that you can audit against them? If you're the customer, how do you distribute them efficiently? If you're a supplier, how do you get them? How do you know if you have the latest version?
Customerspecifics.com was founded as a way of improving the management of customer specific requirements for registrars and quality personnel. The idea started when a member was surprised to find that his revision of a customer specific requirement had become obsolete just days before his audit, resulting in a finding.
Really?
This person wasn't notified of the release of a new revision. If suppliers are required to notify their customers of changes to processes, shouldn't customers return the favor and notify their suppliers of changes to requirements? If something is important enough to be a requirement for a supplier, it's just good business practice to make sure that your suppliers are aware of these requirements.
These are the issues that customerspecifics.com is attempting to solve. We thank each of our users for your valuable document submissions and welcome any and all feedback. We look forward to hearing from you!

Budget Rental Car(insurance)?
Apr 19, 2010 by RichB | Posted in Insurance & Registration
Hey guys I have a question with regards to the insurance on budget rental cars. Their website mentions that hirer is financially responsible for any damage to the car.
Is it still the responsibility of the hirer even if in the event of accident the other person is at fault and not the hirer?
Here is the condition I saw:
From the time you (or any authorised driver on the rental agreement) take charge of a Budget rental vehicle, you are financially responsible for:
any loss or damage to the vehicle up to the level of the excess provided for in the rental agreement a
any loss or damage to third party property in excess of the amount of cover provided for in the rental agreement.
cheers
you are legally responsible but the damage covered depends on your insurance. check here for more detailed info.

i think it means that the hirer is responsible for any costs above what their ins will pay.
Why cant the law talk be in real understandable phrases ?
Also if you have insurance on your personal car, it will usually cover you on rentals.
"the law is an assss "

Courtesy Car Insurance?
Apr 01, 2009 by jnu123 | Posted in Insurance & Registration
Hi, everyone. I currently in Adelaide, SA. My car got some problems and need to return to the dealer to repair for a few days. They will provide a courtesy car/loan car for me to use for free. But they tell me if any accident is made, I will pay the insurance excess which amounts to $2000. So I want to buy an insurance to cover this excess.
I have asked a lot of insurance companies and they do not have insurance like this. The one I know the insurance companies they provide is that if I rent a car from the car rental companies like budget and hertz but not from the car dealer.
Anyone have any idea that any insurance company provide the insurance to cover the dealer courtesy car insurance excess?
Thanks a lot, guys.
Hi, oklatom, thanks. I 've already talked to my current insurance company and they are not willing to cover the courtesy car I drive. What a ***, it is almost the biggest insurance company in Australia.
And Ernest, your provided link seems not working. Thanks anyway.
Claiming car third party property insurance with Budget Direct.?

I ran into a car today coming out of a parking space as my view was obstructed. Didn't help that she was going faster than you should in a car park. I only stuck my nose out to have a look and she came out of nowhere and I hit her door. Dented it and left black marks. No damage to my car. Just wondering how my insurance works and if I am covered or have to pay anything. Like excess? (have no idea what that is). Thanks. I am a P plater to lol.
Hey thanks Ron. Luckily, my car didn't sustain any damage. I hit at a very low speed. I hit an ld crappy car to. So hopefully I don't have to pay a cent!
If you entered a traffic lane then you are at fault. Your liability insurance will cover the damage to the other car without a deductible. Your collision insurance will cover the damage to your car subject to the collision deductble provided you have collision deductble. The term excess can mean a lot of things in the insurance industry. It could mean a claim that is in excess of your policy limits. If you have $5000.00 property damage and you ran into a Lambourgini the damage to the door might exceed your limits.r
