Dont try confused.com there only for car insurances. You have the AA, RAC, GREENFLAG, or you could ASK JEEVES on the internet.

Is it better to have vehicle cover or personal cover? Never had any breakdown cover before so not really sure which one to go for. As far as I can see personal cover seems better because if my boyfriends car were to break down they would come out to fix that too. any help appreciated thanks!
If you travel a lot in other peoples cars and you think it is your responsibility or feel you need the security, then get personal cover.
You could take the view that it is not your car so the owner, boyfriend or not, should take the responsibility.
If you and your boyfriend live together then you could get joint personal cover and split the cost 50/50 which makes it quite reasonable.

how much is this personal cover / vehicle cover? I would go with the personal cover and you can charge all your peeps to fix their cars and have the personal coverage do it. I have a bridge in Brooklyn that I'll sell ya that the repairs can be done on.

In my mind the best way is to get personal cover. That way you have the peace of mind knowing that whatever car you are in you are covered !

i have checked the AA breakdown cover, which also provides cover repair cover, but when i read the term and condition, it say the car must have less than 100,000 mileage, but my car has done over 100,000 miles
Does anyone know of any insurance company that pay for the car repair, if the car beakdown, and does not have any limitation on the mileage.

I dont know about breakdown coverage, but AAA has a towing coverage for motorhomes. try the www.aaa.com website.
