Tenneco Expanding Monroe Quick-Strut Coverage To Address Record Demand
Line of premium replacement strut assemblies will grow through a increase planned for early 2012.
The company says this expansion – comprising nearly 40 SKUs covering approximately 20 popular light truck, sport-utility vehicle and passenger car models – reflects record demand for the company’s all-in-one strut replacement solution.
Tenneco’s Monroe Quick-Strut production capacity also is at an all-time high, with seven U.S.-based production lines now dedicated to the strut assembly category. The company was the first to introduce a complete strut assembly for the aftermarket, in 2003, and already offers significantly more SKUs than any other manufacturer.
“We receive new requests for Quick-Strut coverage almost every day,” said Bill Dennie, director of ride control channel management, North American Aftermarket, Tenneco. “As the pioneer in this category, we have continued to lead other suppliers in every key area affecting installers and consumers, including the technologies available within each Quick-Strut unit, application coverage and the confidence that comes with a comprehensive quality and performance guarantee.”
