20" dc-1 blk rims i want to put 35x12.5r20 tires but its recommended 33x12.5 tires what can i do to be able to use 35x12.5 tires?
Off topic but is that Tuff Country from El Campo, Texas ?

well you could try it and see if the 35"s rub and if they do you will be stuck with 33's or you will need to get a body lift.Or if you want to spend a ton of money get a bigger suspension lift....I would go to a tire store and ask them if they will let you try a set of 35's.They will most likely let you try them because they want to make the commission off their sale...

agree w "trey"..... a good tire store will let U try out 35's. other than that... a bigger lift or maybe throw some spacers on top of your front shocks for another inch or two for very cheap. the rear should be fine. also if you have money for coil overs thats will defintely give you what you need with primo suspension.

Is Rough Country a reputable suspension lift brand?
Jan 23, 2008 by Laura C | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
My husband wants a 6" lift for his '97 Chevy K1500 4x4. We are searching around and have found the best deal to be with Rough Country. But the kit includes less parts than the other companies, and appear different. Anyone have any experience with this company? The other one we are considering is Tuff Country---but it's a $500 price difference. Thanks for the help!!
Thanks so much. I think we'll go with the Tuff Country.
Your better lift kits come in "classes"
They are much more expensive though, yet more durable.
Try to buy compleate kits , searching for parts is hecktic
So just buy the lil'more expensive version, it's worth it really.
A body lift is cheap $150 for 3" e-bay

rough country is the bottom of the line. they have less parts that you will end up needing or causeing other problems like alingment issues and ect. I had a 6" lift on a 96 F-150 and the only thing was that the springs would settle after break in and I would have to replace but that was on a TIB front axle. The torstion bar set up you have shouldn't have that problem. If all you are looking at is price then atleast get the tuff then I would look at Superlift. check out 4wheelparts.com. Good luck.

spend the extra money, trust me, it will save you money in the long run.

The old you get what you pay for applys here.
Lifting a IFS is expensive. With a 6" lift you are looking at upgrading your 4-link to avoid issues down the road. Now you can use extenders and(I dare to say it)blocks to get your lift. But, you will be getting into dangerious crash related safety issues like with a 5" body lift.
If you have the ability to build a four link yourself you can save a good amount of cash. With the cheaper kits that is almost nessiary to remain safe.
A major benifit of this is that you know what it will take to fix when you break something.
The main question is what you want to do with the Blazer if you just want to play in the mud or drive down flat trails almost any kit will do if you want the suspension to flex though you need to look at your kits a little more carefully.
Goodluck

Suspension Lift removal?
Apr 07, 2008 by Thom H | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I have a 1998 Chevy with a Tuff Country 6" Suspension lift. My question is; Is it possible to remove the lift? Has anyone done this before?
You'll just have to get all the factory stuff to put back on it....
