Electricity and thermal energy produced by The Gardiner Farms cattle feedlot

Using former waste streams, manure and organic material, The Gardiner Farms cattle feedlot in Kirkton, Ontario is producing electricity and thermal energy offsetting the prior purchase of energy produced using fossil fuels.
It generates biogas to fuel Elite EnviroGen Energy Modules, CHP units. The biogas is generated via a recently commissioned anaerobic digestion process.

The former waste stream is providing most of the heat and electricity for all farm operations as well as private residences located on property. Electricity the farm does not use will be sold back to the utility, resulting in an additional income stream. The system is another piece in the portfolio of green energy solutions enabling the Province of Ontario to meet its renewable energy goals.
We at Gardiner Farms are excited with Elites partnership in this project, said Joel Gardiner, operations manager. Anaerobic digestion and on-farm energy production is a great

Why is the antifreeze turning into black sludge?

I a 1995 freightliner with a cAterpillar 3406b engine ,it has a new oil cooler ,new radiator,,new waterpump. Its like it is burning the color off the antifreeze and turning it into sludge.

You have oil getting into it. That is the only way antifreeze will sludge.

I would suspect head gasket, or one of the new parts is defective.

It may be a leaking or blown head gasket, allowing oil to be forced into the cooling system by the engine compression. Start it cold with radiator cap off & look for air bubbles. If it is turbo charged, is the turbo water cooled? If so then there could be a leaky oil seal allowing oil into the coolant. You should be able to submit a sample of the oil & coolant to a caterpillar dealer and they can give you a detailed prognosis.

It can't really "burn the colour off" the antifreeze. This sounds suspiciously like a blown head gasket, and the oil is mixing with the antifreeze. Have a look at the antifreeze, is it "milky" ?

It still has oil getting in to cooler system you could try flushing the cooler system with a cooling
system cleaner
