Wriggins on Compulsory Auto Insurance as Precedent for the Health Insurance ...

Opponents of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 assert that the ‘individual mandate’ is unprecedented, not just in the narrow and obvious sense that the federal government has never before required people to have health insurance, but in a much broader sense as well. They claim government even at the state level has never before required people to insure themselves. This article examines the assertion that the mandate is an unprecedented outlier and a sharp departure from all past government policies. This article finds that the laws in many states require drivers to purchase insurance coverage for their own injuries, that several states’ laws require drivers to buy coverage for their own medical expenses, and that liability insurance mandates protect careless drivers along with their victims. These long-standing individual insurance mandates have been overlooked by both sides in the current debate. As requirements for people to insure themselves, they are clear,
1 Trick to Crash Your Ohio Auto Insurance Rates: InsureonaBudget.com

Car insurance savings experts at www.InsureonaBudget.com show Ohio auto insurance policy holders how they can reduce their auto insurance premium by 55% just from taking advantage of loopholes in car insurers' rates.
Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) February 27, 2012
Most US drivers understand it is a rare occurrence that they are going to receive a courtesy call from their auto insurer telling them they qualify for a better deal. Yet most fail to review their policies or contracts each year to make sure they're getting the lowest rates possible. The reality is that cheap Ohio car insurance is possible.
According to savings experts from Fox Business , there are a few criteria can easily qualify Ohio drivers for quick discounts. For example, driving less than 25 miles per day, or having no car accidents over the last 12 months, and no DWI/DUI record, likely qualifies drivers for many hidden discounts on their car insurance bill. The issue, as Robert Hunter of Consumer Federation of America describes it, is that "insurers aren't required to let you know when you're eligible for a lower rate...so it is very difficult to be sure that you have the best price."

Does anyone know where I can find affordable auto insurance for a single parent of two?
Dec 11, 2006 by jmk_norwood | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I just purchased a 2006 Chevy cobalt four door and I need insurance that will work on a single parents income and I need it yesterday. Can someone help?
Without a doubt, my wife and I are living proof that AIG insurance is the lowest down payment and premium we have ever seen. AIG is the largest insurance company and is worldwide. We pay only 365 for 6 months for collision and comprehensive 50/100 policy and that includes a new driver rate..Cant beat that with a stick.
