Air Products Announces Further Strategic Expansion in Growth Regions
23.05.12
Announced plans today for two new significant investments in Russia, continuing the company's strategy of investment in growth regions. Air Products will construct and operate an over 200 ton per day oxygen, nitrogen and argon liquefier and cylinder gases depot in Krasny Sulin in the Rostov region, which has a well-established manufacturing base, strong historic growth rate and very promising development forecasts. The total value of both investments is over USD $30 million (over EUR 25 million). Both the liquefier and packaged gases depot are expected to be on-stream in early 2014.
"We are continually looking for opportunities that allow us to strengthen our position in growth regions. Air Products is interested in viable commercial opportunities across Russia, including the Rostov region, as we firmly believe this geography has long-term growth potential. The liquefier and depot will allow us to supply both liquid and packaged gases to the merchant market and support our onsite customers," commented Robert Mills, General Manager, Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) at Air Products.

What kind of products does air transport deliver?
Mar 04, 2009 by elweyzote | Posted in Aircraft
its urgent
any product that an aircraft can carry
Freedom of Stupidity | Mar 04, 2009
They can deliver just about anything that they can fit into an aircraft that is capable of handling it.
Silverstang | Mar 04, 2009
All the same things a truck does.
Aircraft are used in the far North and other remote areas that are not accessible by road to deliver everything from Fuel to building supplies.

Urgent?? You got a couple hundred kilos of "product" you need delivered??
Everything under the sun is transported by air. If you have the money, it will get there by tomorrow.

Do after market products such as air intakes, headers and exhaust really improve performance?
Oct 26, 2006 by POPCORN | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
or are they just to make your car noisier?
Is the amount of increased performance worth the hell you are causing so many people in the United States now?
People are so consumed with making noise with their cars and trucks now that there is really nowhere to go for peace and quiet. Not even state parks. There's always some jerk with loud exhausts.
Being awakened at 5 in the morning with the NASCAR wannabe down the street is so wonderful. And to hear him roar by....bliss. Why can't stealth be something to work on? Who can have the quietest vehicle.
I won't even mention subwoofers with the bass coming through my walls. I'm so sick of all this noise. It doesn't sound good to me. I haven't heard the whisper of the wind, crickets at night...any environmental sounds in so long. I miss it. It's made me hate this life now. And if you think I'm some nutcase...I promise...I know so many people who feel the same way I do.
We're just helpless to do anything about it. My constitutional right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness no longer exists. Your exhausts would be like me screaming in your ear. You could drive away and not hear me. I don't have that choice anymore.
FieldMouse | Oct 30, 2006
Yes, improving the air flow both into and out of the veh can increase performance.
Final Answer | Oct 26, 2006
Not so noisy at all, see what types of products you're using... Before install check your engine conditions and do some port and polish when needed...

Hi. Your engine is really nothing more than an air pump. When you open the throttle the pump makes more power. Open it further and it makes more. When fully open it is at it's airflow limit and you need to modify things to make more flow and power. And I personally LIKE the sound of power.
Cirric | Oct 26, 2006
yes they do make a difference an aftermarket header and exhaust system are more free flowing than the stock ones, an air intake is also more free flowing and most of the time the filter is directed to be able to suck in cooler air than normal. and because of the more free flowing pipes in the exhaust and headers the sound is going to increase because there is not as much back pressure and it is no longer being muffled by the muffler
falsman14 | Oct 26, 2006
yeup, they make a difference. makes a better "air flow" to recieve more horse for the money in a matter of speaking.
Another thing to look into is the shutoff valve for the catty. =]
Haven't you ever heard a Corvette go by, that orgasmic hum is amazing. So is my rice-burners hum =]

If a car air filter is dirty, what products will be formed in the engine? How might it affect the engine?
Feb 06, 2009 by arpnuck | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
It needs air yes but which part exactly oxygen. Your car automatically mixes OXYGEN and GAS together to cause a combustion.(FIRE) if you don't have enough Oxygen running through your air filter you gas will not burn properly or at all just clean it or replace it if you have access to an air compressor and a spray nossle just blow it out this should help some
Pats~Fan86 | Feb 06, 2009
Not much will get into the engine to form anything. Will have less power due to the filter being dirty and clogged up.
Silverstang | Feb 06, 2009
the filter will restrict the air flow. in order for an engine to work, it needs fuel (gas) ,compression (the engine rotating) and air (air from the filter). if the flow of air is clogged then the cars computer will sense that and dump more gas into the engine to compensate for the lower amount of air. hence giving you really bad gas mileage and poor engine performance. hope this helped!
Ryan M | Feb 06, 2009
when the filter can no longer block the dirt out of the engine. it will get in the cylinders and scratch groves in cylinder walls and crank bearings. That leads to more oil consumption less compression and performance . All along while it has a blockage in the air filter will give the engine a rich fuel mixture . Which is also bad and accelerates wear in the engine. A $10 filter can cost you thousands in repairs if goes unchanged. I make a point to change or at least inspect the air filter every time i change the oil..every 3 months or 3000 miles .. good engine maintenance can add 50,000 to 75,000 miles to the life of a engine. I have 90 chevy Corsica with over 300,000 miles and gets almost 30 miles to the gallon. Still runs great and no signs of oil use. That is what taking care of you car's engine can do.
Tim | Feb 06, 2009
It just makes the engine have to work harder to "suck" in air...you'll lose lots of power, and gas mileage will drop severely! Replace it...they're cheap. Good luck.
dale b | Feb 06, 2009
if the air filter is dirty the the engine will suck dirt up into the injectors and make it miss or sometimes not start. plus it will suck gas because it changes the mixture.

Slime tire sealant and the Slime portable air compressor, has any one ever used these two products?
Dec 01, 2007 by deCoucy B | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
that stuff is for emergency use. when you put a liquid inside your tire, it will make it out of balance. and it is disgusting to fix. People who use that kinda stuff should be kicked in the groin when they bring it to a garage to be fixed later on by someone else.
put a spare on, or fix/replace the tire.

Personal Injury or Products Liability? (Air Bag)?
Mar 14, 2007 by Silky | Posted in Safety
I am a consumer and was severely injured by a GM air bag. Do I file a personal injury lawsuit against GM in federal court or do I file a products liability case, again in fed cour? Also, is there a way to file in state court even tho the defendant is in another state? This is going to be a hot topic for the next couple of days since I waited til the 11th hour to file. I have until Friday, March 16, 2007 to file something in some court to start the ball rolling and to stop the statute from tolling (March 18 will be two years). Thanks.
You don't give too many details. Did you wear seat belts? The airbag is a supplemental safety device only intended to work properly when seat belts are worn. Airbags are meant to prevent serious injury in higher speed condition, but they can cause injuries in their own right. Lastly airbags need room to open all the safety stickers tell you you need to sit about 8 inches or more away from the steering wheel.
If you can prove that you followed all the safety procedures and the airbag malfunctioned you may have a case.
