COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan 24, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Kentrox(R), Inc., an innovator of site monitoring, management,
and control solutions, announces immediate availability of the tower
management module for enhanced site management. Tower providers and
their footprint are growing rapidly. As their footprint expands,
understanding site conditions becomes more challenging. One of the most
difficult requirements is monitoring tower assets (access, commercial
power, tenant power, generators, batteries, tower lights, etc.) and more
importantly, knowing how to accurately bill each tenant for energy
consumption, including the varying cost of providing the power
(commercial, fuel-based back-up sources, etc.).
The Kentrox tower management module provides the applications needed to
help tower providers meter, monitor, and manage multi-tenant sites. The
applications use Optima and the Remote suite of products to monitor
tower assets by providing the following:

your information from OBD-codes.com,i read it too.and the local mechanic also read.He change Ho2s11 and MFA sonsore and no result then change back to old old. Please interprete following positive finding;catalyst mon inc, oxygen sens mon inc, evap sys mon inc, catalytic load 34.5 %,st ftrim 3.1%lt ftrim 32.2 % and those data on freeze frame what it mean and what they point the direction for.
sorry my car is not ford suggest to ford dealer is it appropate?
the reason I ask such as those data show actual fuel/gas mixture? are they normal. If yes that mean the car run normal mixture the HO2s11 show inc(oxygen not voltage) that must some air leak in before o2 sensor.I need expert input.
What does that mean?
Basically this means that an oxygen sensor in bank 1 detected a lean condition (too much oxygen in the exhaust). On V6/V8/V10 engines, Bank 1 is the side of the engine that has cylinder #1.
Note: This DTC is very similar to P0174, and in fact your vehicle may show both codes at the same time.
Symptoms
You will more than likely not notice any drivability problems, although there may be symptoms such as a lack of power, detonation (spark knock), and/or a hesitation/surge on acceleration.
Causes
A code P0171 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
* The MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor is dirty or faulty. Note: The use of "oiled" air filters may cause the MAF to become dirty if the filter is over-oiled. There is also an issue with some vehicles where the MAF sensors leak the silicone potting material used to protect the circuitry.
* There could be a vacuum leak downstream of the MAF sensor.
Possible Solutions
Possible solutions include:
* In the vast majority of cases, simply cleaning the MAF sensor does the trick. Consult your service manual for it's location if you need help. I find it's best to take it off and spray it with electronics cleaner or brake cleaner. Make sure you are careful not to damage the MAF sensor, and make sure it's dry before reinstalling
* Inspect all vacuum and PCV hoses, replace if necessary
* Check for a dirty fuel filter and proper fuel pressure.
A: Code P0171 reads "System too lean (Bank 1)" and code P0174 reads "System too lean (Bank 2)" What it means is that the engine is running lean. There are many possible problems that may cause the air-fuel mixture to be lean: Defective or contaminated airflow sensor, intake vacuum leak, dirty fuel filter, etc. There are certain tests to be performed to find the exact cause of the problem. Common problems with Ford engines are defective airflow sensors and vacuum leaks. As of my knowledge, Ford issued Technical Service Bulletin on this problem, you can check it at Alldata DIY.
I'd suggest to visit your local Ford dealer, they will be able to repair the problem properly.

Should I have to pay out of pocket for a vehicle recall?
Sep 20, 2008 by katjha2005 | Posted in Safety
I was having a problem with my car stalling out when I came to stop, such as a stop sign or light. It would cut off, but then start back up. My check engine light was not coming on so it was hard to diagnose, I tried many different things that mechanics told me to do, finally it gave out and I had a harder time starting it back up. The check engine light finally came on when it got this bad and I took it in yet again. This time they told me that the code was for the crankshaft position sensor, and that it had been in a recall, and I needed to take it to the dealer. Here is the recall
Auto Recall Date: 11/14/2007
Vehicle Component: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
Estimated Vehicles Affected: 653910
2005 NISSAN ALTIMA Defect Summary:
ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A 2.5L ENGINE, THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CAN OVERHEAT CAUSING A BRIEF INTERRUPTION IN THE SIGNAL OUTPUT FROM THE SENSOR.
Defect Consequence:
IF THE INTERRUPTION IN THE SIGNAL FROM THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR IS SO BRIEF THAT THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE (ECM) LOGIC DOES NOT HAVE TIME TO DIAGNOSE THE CONDITION, THE ENGINE MAY STOP RUNNING WITHOUT WARNING WHILE THE VEHICLE IS DRIVEN AT A LOW SPEED INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Remedy:
DEALERS WILL REPROGRAM THE ECM FREE OF CHARGE. CERTAIN MY 2006 ALTIMAS WHICH HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY REMEDIED UNDER RECALL CAMPAIGN 06V223 (NISSAN R0606) ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS RECALL SINCE THE REPROGRAMMING FOR 06V223 ALSO INCLUDED THIS REPROGRAMMING. THE RECALL BEGAON ON DECEMBER 31, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT NISSAN AT 1-800-647-7261.
Notes: NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC.,
Nissan told me they reprogram the ECM for free, but that I have to pay over $200.00 for a new crankshaft position sensor. Reading the recall it sounds like the sensor is the problem with it overheating. Why should I have to pay out of pocket for this?
NO NO NO NO NO!!!!! Tell them you will contact your state attorney's office
gapsusie | Sep 20, 2008
yes susie is right do not let them tell you you owe them one cents because a recall is a manufacturer's way of saying they messed up and need to fix the problem and if they don't fix it definitely report them to the attorney general and report them to better Business
nclmbrt | Sep 20, 2008
The problem is they could say that not the problem unless you stand there and watch them replace the sensor> If under recall what is there policy on replacing the part call costumer service and ask them >
45 cal | Sep 20, 2008
No! They should take care of it. It shouldn't come out of your pocket.
noncomputerwiz | Sep 20, 2008
Tell 'em flat out you're not paying.
Eventually you might have to give in & pay, but I bet if you are firm (but not abusive), they'll cover it.
jtexas | Sep 20, 2008
i would leave the car there before i would pay it. thats what recalls are for. its only a 2005

Which car is better and will cost me less overall after purchase?
Apr 03, 2009 by Sean | Posted in Buying & Selling
How much will the oil change and maintenance cost me?
Which car is better?
I'd like expert opinions.
Also, there's another BMW that i'm looking into with about 90K miles.
Is that too much for a German car?
I heard if its anything over 40K miles, you should avoid the car at all costs.
Please provide good answers.
10 points and best answer for the best advice.
It will be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

So in a nutshell, the 04 mercedes, or the 06 bimmer?
I wouldn't mess with a 90K BMW cause maintenance would be about to get expensive. I would recommend you go with an 05 or so Acura TL. It's a fantastic looking sedan. It wont handle as well as the Bimmer, but it may have cheaper maintenance since it has some Accord underpinnings.
