Blue skies smiling at '3'
There's plenty of brilliant new technology under the bonnet of a new Mazda3 that has entered the New Zealand market. ROB MAETZIG explains what it's all about.
There are a few blue clues that tell you this Mazda3 is something just a little special.
The car's headlights have transparent blue rings around their centre lens. The rear of the car has blue badging. The engine cover is painted a deep blue metallic. On the inside, the car's meters have blue illumination.

Not only that, but the car also features a fuel-saving i-Stop function, which automatically turns the engine off whenever the Mazda has come to a complete stop for more than five seconds.
