Raising the excitement around its Micro Four Thirds cameras, Olympus added a new branch to the line with the OM-D E-M5. Once again, Olympus resurrected both the name and appearance of a successful camera line from the company's past to appeal to the sense of nostalgia we're seeing return to the digital camera space. The new digital camera upgrades the sensor to 16 megapixels and includes a built-in electronic viewfinder, both firsts for an Olympus-badged MFT camera. Available in both black and silver starting April 2012, the new camera is also somewhat pricey, starting at US$1,000 body-only, US$1,100 with a standard 14-42mm lens, and US$1,300 with the unique 12-50mm f/3.5-6.3 EZ lens pictured at right.
Though the viewfinder housing is shaped like a pentaprism, there is no pentaprism underneath. Many might cry foul over this choice, but it makes sense. Rather than make their camera look like a modern, smooth molded plastic camera, they pulled from their own past, returning to an easily recognizable form. But I can't deny that a flood of analytical thoughts and emotions washed over me when I first set eyes on the OM-D E-M5. Was I impressed or put off? Did they hit the right notes? Is it too similar or not similar enough to the old OM line? Am I overanalyzing and under-appreciating because I'm afraid I'm a little too fond of bringing back the old camera forms?

Where is the conv. top motor in a '98 mustang?
Apr 24, 2009 by jennifer_dozer | Posted in Ford
My little brother just bought a '98 mustang convertible, but the top doesn't work. He is trying to fix it, but can't find anything that shows where the motor is located, where the relay is, or which fuse controls the top. If anyone can give some detailed info on where to find these on the car I would really appreciate it! Thanks!!!
Found the motor, but still need to know about the relay & fuse. Thanks!
visit your parts department at your local ford dealership....they are and can be more helpful than you think......then go get the part used.......the dealership will have the schematics for the vehicle and usually do not have problems giving you a copy of the page......

It's got to be centered in the car accessible from the trunk right up against the back seat. Look carefully. I suggest if you can't find the motor you might have trouble fixing it.

Probably behind the rear seat back.

My ford mustang conv. works fine as far as the motor goes letting it up and down, it's just that it has huge holes in the top and it looks horrible. What is it other than the top I would need to replace? The motor, the glass window, ect? What can I expect? And how can I find a legitmate place? What is the average price to have it done? Or what is a good price?
Thank You

About a thousand dollars or so.
You CAN do it yourself, if you have the patience and mechanical ability.
Most people take their cars to a shop that is prepared to do convertible tops. not everyone is, by any means.

The top will run about $650 to $1200 depending on the type of material used. and your local AUTO UPHOLSTERY SHOP OR
CUSTOMIZER AUTO SHOP like where they stitch interiors in Low Riders & show cars. These shops are very professional and are more than capable of doing the work better than the car was brand new. Check your local area to see what type of customize shops are in your area, then take the car to em. They will hook you up.

I found some good info in an earlier post and tried topping off the GM hydraulic fluid in the pump but it still hangs up mid way and the pump motor goes off on overload (i assume) a second or two later. Most times i can wait a couple seconds and get it to go on a second try (with a little push) and other times i need to close fully and start again.
Get expert help, this is not D.I.Y thing to do. The motors are synchronised to work together for all the bows to move in harmony. Any screw up will cost you a lot more than a worn out pump or faulty hydraulic hoses.

Go to your nearest dealer and have them scan the soft top control module for any fault codes. Most times the motor will "time-out" due to a system malfunction. Make sure that the valve on top of the hydraulic motor is fully closed. It is located behind the rear seat under a round plastic plug. Pray that the 5th bow unlatch piston is not the culprit. This particular piece will set you back $600.00 . It is located on the left side and has an electrical switch integral to the piston.

wanted to know is the top motor hydraulic or electric. This is probably big help if anyone knows. Anyway the top does not always want to go up on the first try, any suggestions?
Not sure, but even when they are hydraulic, they are electric.
But to the point, check the hydraulic fluid reservoir in the trunk and make sure the system is bleed.
