What can you tell me about Monroe sensatrac shocks/struts?
Jan 23, 2010 by EddieWolfgang | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Have you ever had an experience with these type of shocks, do they perform as they say they do?
I'm looking for nothing sporty or stiff, all about comfy and im getting some 18" rims? my BMW shocks feel like there are no shocks, just springs with now shocks. Please don't tell me to get bilstein or boge. Thanks for you time, appreciated =D
you will not go wrong with monroe sensatrac. I have used them and installed them for years with out any problems. they also have lifetime warranty.

Monroe are a good product and not over stiff but much better than standard shocks. I'm sure you will be more than happy.

I have them on my Infiniti I30. They're decent performers overall, although they weren't much cheaper than Nissan's OEM dampers. (I shudder to imagine what BMW asks for a set.)

Anybody have monroe senstrac shocks/struts?
Nov 15, 2007 by DanKush | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I have a lowered 2000 Mustang GT and am replacing the piece of shit QA1 shocks I bought about a year ago, not only were they extremely expensive but the ride was HORRIBLE. So now I am looking to get something that will give me performance with a good ride, I know Bilsteins are good but I dont have the money for those now, Monroe seems to offer quality mid-high performance for a low price, I also like the fact that they are monotube and are almost as pressurized as the Bilsteins. Any advice, personal experience, is greatly appreciated.
i got them on a Nissan i been working on ,and it rides pretty good,i really have no complaints from the ride or the firmness of them, and they came with a lifetime warranty on them also, but i like the ones i have they are a little stiff when its cold though until you drive it for a while, but not enough to hurt anything, right now there about the best on the market, good luck on it.

I would not recommend Sensa-Trac's for a lowered car. They are not engineered to deal with the higher spring rates.

Monroe Sensa-Trac shocks/struts. Daily Driver ok?
May 09, 2009 by Adam Kielb | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Looking for a little guidance in purchasing a shock/strut combo. Will Monroe Sensa-Trac be ok for daily driver use. I will be putting them on an Audi A4 with sport suspension. Total cost after the rebate will be $260 shipped, I would be doing the install. The other option I'm looking at is Bilstein or KYB. Both are about $250ish more aka twice as much, and I'm thinking they are not worth the price for what I want. Thoughts, other options.......
well i will say the Monroes would be good. I do work at NAPA and i know sensa-trac is a good brand. I get a lot of calls for Monroe shocks they are pretty common. and they do have a three year full warranty

Have a toyota 4 runner 2002 should I use Monroe Reflex shocks & struts. I got good pricing at Sears.Should I go ahead and get them? I need to replace what I have
Monroe shocks and struts are quality parts, use them. Sears sometimes has good prices on tires and shocks. If you are replacing struts on the front make sure you get an alignment.

07 focus 2.0, 70,000 miles, looking to replace struts and shocks, just wondering which brand is the best.
best for Comfort, a nice smooth ride
For comfort and smooth ride go with monroe or gabriel, standard dont go for any sport
shock , the KYB is a good shock but a little firmer and stiff than the others, get
a garantee with your purchase.
To illustrate the road profile and handling capability of the new Monroe OESpectrum shocks and struts, the Monroe Ride and Drive demo will use a pair of 2007 Mercedes C280 passenger cars. In addition to covering diagnostic procedures,
