Of Hood Design Studio, the overall aesthetic of the promenade is guided by a forward-thinking, people-friendly, environmentally-conscious philosophy. By repurposing the on-street loading lanes along these two blocks of Powell Street, the Promenade provides six additional feet of continuous pedestrian space and adds amenities such as custom designed aluminum benches, planters, tables, rails, landscaping, bike parking, and other pedestrian-friendly features. Low-energy Light Emitting Diodes (LED) lights will illuminate the space through power collected from solar panels. All landscaping is drought tolerant and materials used are designed to be long-lasting and reusable. People utilizing this Promenade will also have access to free Wi-Fi; which was installed as part of the project. Audi used the same principles that define the brand's innovative approach to car making throughout this process. The Union Square BID will maintain the Promenade and keep it clean and activated.

How many Audi Dealers are there in Torrevieja Spain?
Jul 01, 2009 by bunnieshutch | Posted in Audi
If you know of ANY, REPEAT, ANY, please let me know.....I'm going bananas trying to find the lair of the most secretive of all Dealerships...it's as if they don't want your money!!! (Maybe they don't deserve it??)
Any Audi owners know if a VW dealer will service your car? I'm getting a VW dealer soon, thinking of getting an Audi.
Every dealer is different and will have different policies for different matters. A VW dealer will be able to do most of the work that an Audi dealer can do but anything under warranty has to be taken to an authorized Audi repair center, usually only Audi dealers. If you are talking about taking in your 10 cylinder A6 to a VW dealer, they will not be able to work on this, but as far as any typical Audi A3 or A4 with the 2.0t engine, they shouldn't have a problem. Call and ask before you go up there.

sure...they're made by the same company and so much alike in style and price...(not)
Chrys | Aug 07, 2009
Of course they do.
In theory you could get any car serviced by any dealer. I for instance take my Ford to a Toyota dealer to get it serviced simply because it's the closest.
Since VW and Audi are the same group, in many parts of the world they actually are the same dealer network. They share a lot of common componentry anyway.

Yes and no. The VW dealer can get parts and should know how to service it, but if it is a waranty issue then no they cannot. Best bet is to call and see if they sell both makes. Only audi authorized dealers can service an Audi for warranty purposes.

Are audi main dealers full service for audi's that costly?
May 23, 2007 by SolidStateLogic | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Basically I've had a nasty 2 weeks with 2 different mechanics. My brakes have been changed all around on my audi a3 (1997) 1.8 SE but the break dash board light is still on and also the abs light is on. I had some jamex shocks put on the car too. The back are fine but the front ones seem to caused a conking/knocking kind of noise that happens when I drive round corners. It's like 1 knock to turn then the same knock happens again when I straighten up.
I just want to have my car serviced and have these issues sorted. There is also air escaping from the exhaust system I had fitted. Its between the backbox and the pipe after that. I dont think any exhaust seal/paste was used.
I am based in London/Essex and want these problems sorted plus a full service and do not want to get ripped off at the same time. Can anybody recommend any decent garages in the london/essex area?
I want to find a mechanic and stick to them instead of using my car as a test dummy.
How much would you say a full service would cost at a main dealer (a3 owners)
Sounds like the mechanics you have used are not up to much!!!!!!
The issue with the brake pads, sounds like they have fitted after market pads that do not come with the wear indicator wiring. The way to sort this out is to run a wire from the one side of the now lose cable plug to the other, this will make the cars ECU think that the brake pads have the correct wire.
The back box leaking sound like shoddy workmanship, take it back and get them to fix it.
The knock from the front suspension sounds like the shock and springs have been incorrectly assembled. The coil spring sits on the rotating plate at the top of the shock and the non rotation plate at the bottom of the shock. Because the shock is angled the spring will pull the top plate out of alignment resulting in the spring building tension of centre from the centre shaft of the shock. When this happens as you turn the wheels tension builds up in the spring until the spring jumps round, this is the noise that you hear at the front as single knock. The correct way to prevent this it to locate the rubber bump stop bung in the top of the rotating plate (Easy Fix).
Audi are expensive for service work but there work is guaranteed and they have the correct diagnostic equipment to re-set your service light and fault find.

ask others with the same make and model where they get service and if they would reccomend them to you or not.
good service costs less than having it done twice.

This is Now and the future. Few people other than the dealer and dedicated specialists are able to adequately cope with quality cars. At the end of the day they are possibly the cheapest option. However Audis are difficult in many respects owing to poor accessibility, which really pushes prices up owing to labour costs.

hi had same problems with my A3!! went back to the company that fitted the exhaust and didn't leave till they had split the pipe and resealed it!! and as far as a service goes i got a 2001 A3 and it cost me £350 for a 40k service in Scotland. Go back to the garage that fitted your gear and ask them to take another look! I said if i was not satisfied i would go to the citizens advice bureau and the department of transport to see where we all stand. I got sorted!!!

Do car dealers offer group discounts for buying multiple cars?
Aug 20, 2009 by John B | Posted in Buying & Selling
Three of my buddies and I want to buy New Audi A4s when we return from deployment in Afghanistan. Will Audi dealers significantly lower the MSRP if four of us commit (and are well qualified) to buying one. Currently, we are looking at a $42,000 car and are looking to pay $35,000. Cars can't be selling too well these days, so wouldn't they be crazy not to? Would it be unethical or stupid to ask several dealers and indirectly have them compete?
They won't lower the MSRP; that stands for Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price. The dealer can charge whatever they want for it; higher or lower than the MSRP. The dealer will probably offer a discount if four cars will be sold.
Dealers already compete. It is not like you can only shop at the dealer closest to you. The dealer that has the best price wins.
