Import-Car Dealers Head South of Seoul
24.05.12
Import-car dealers are heading south of Seoul as the market in the capital approaches saturation point. Some 24 out of 33 import-car dealerships that opened over the past year were not in the greater metropolitan area.
Many of them opened in the southern port city of Busan, as well as Songdo west of the capital. Intense competition is driving import-car dealers out of the capital in search of better margins.
◆ Going South
Deutsche Motors, the official dealer of BMW in Korea, decided to open a showroom on Jeju Island in September. Although Chrysler was first to open a dealership there, Deutsche Motors plans to gain a solid lead through aggressive marketing. It will set up a shop on the main road from Jeju International Airport to downtown and target high-income earners and car rental businesses on the island.
"More and more young Koreans are starting to see Jeju Island as a possible place to live rather than just a tourist spot, while wealthy Chinese

Transfer Case Rebuilder of Jeep, Dodge and Chevy Transfer Cases Launches New ...
24.05.12
Transfer case rebuilder, http://www.transfercasesforsale.com, has launched a new website for its rebuilt Jeep, Dodge and Chevy transfer cases. This new website is expected to provide an alternative to consumers to purchase a high quality transfer case without the traditional high markup added by some dealers. Detroit, Michican (PRWEB) May 17, 2012 Transfer case buyers that purchase Chevy, Dodge and Jeep drive train products now have the ability to add a new website to their arsenal of contacts. The transfer case retailer, http://www.transfercasesforsale.com, is making its selection of quality rebuilt transfer cases for direct sale to the public through its new website. Traditional dealers sell only to mechanics or automotive body shops and often pass along special dealer pricing. Instead of purchasing a new or used drive train unit, consumers can now purchase a rebuilt unit for an affordable price. The long-term goal of this new offering is to foster new competition in the automotive industry between dealers, retailers and the general public.

I think it show the Base price of one.
snagelfritz | Jun 16, 2007
As I remember all cars (that is, Ford, Chevy, Plymouth ) were about $2200. I think it is great they pre-raffled it off to someone or their heir. Too bad they didn't seal the container against water leakage. Still, in the photo it looks more dirty than rusty. I doubt that a restorer who look down his nose at it.

What makes people think buying cars from a dealer is a better deal?
Jun 01, 2009 by Mr. LOL | Posted in Buying & Selling
I'd rather buy my car on-line if I can get a 10% discount on a car I want.
Why do people think just because they test drive an automobile, they will less likely get a "lemon"?
If I can buy a Toyota Avalon for 10% off the dealer price by just ordering it off line, I would go for it.
Not sure about GM, Ford, or Chrysler products, although if the car has a good reliability rating I would probably order it on-line.
i will go to the same dealer and get the same car for the same or lower price. nothing like good old fashion negotiating
pickmefirstplz | Jun 01, 2009
because its cheaper

I've always enjoyed testing out the cars before buying. Its reassuring that the car is the car for you. kind of like someone needing to try on pants before they buy them.
if you research online prices, and then go to a dealer. They might be drastic enough to sell it for a lower price than online.

The reality, sadly enough but understandable, is that if you service your vehicle where you bought it, you'll be less likely to end up in the back of the line and far more likely to get any consideration for repairs that may not be strictly under the warranty.

Two automobile dealers, A and B, had t had the same car which was listed at $18,000.?
May 27, 2009 by Javier Gonzales | Posted in Buying & Selling
12. Two automobile dealers, A and B, had the same car which was listed at $18,000. Dealer A offered a $1200 rebate and would negotiate a further 8% discount after rebate. Dealer B offered an 8% discount and would negotiate a further $1200 rebate.
(a) Which dealer has the lowest price? _____________
(b) What is the lowest price? ______________
honest charleys discount motors --he is just down the street from a&b
ken k | May 27, 2009
Dealer B is the lower offer because 8% of $18,000 off and then a $1200 rebate is more than 8% of $16,800.
15,360

Automobile - How to address dealership for advertising lower price on used vehicle after it was purchased???
Jul 17, 2008 by Daniel R | Posted in Buying & Selling
We recently purchased a used vehicle from Honda dealership. Five (5) days after the sale - the vehicle we purchased was still listed on the dealers website at a lower price. We questioned the dealership - they are not willing to honor the lower price. Is this false advertising? Any suggestions on how to move forward?
looking for an automobile site that gives you dealer costs on new vehicles, mark up costs to consumers.?
Aug 10, 2006 by ecraeppaul | Posted in Buying & Selling
Looking for a site that you can go into to find out just what auto dealers mark up prices are on new vehicles in order to shop around for the best deal possible on a new vehicle and insure that you as a consumer are getting the best possible price once you know just what the mark up price is from the dealership!!
They do thier best to hide that from you. MSRP is already marked up and it will be rare that you can find a time that you will get a price lower than that. You can find the cost of all cars from the Kelley Blue Book. The automobile industry uses this resource.
you can find it online at http://www.kbb.com/
