I went to a few car dealerships, but no one will approve me because I only have a 505 credit score. They said the only way is if I can get a cosigner.. which I dont have one. Does anyone know if there are companies or car dealers that deal with just bad credit car loans?
There's a great site that offers car loans & quotes regardless of credit. http://www.surveyking.net/cars
They also offer credit help, downpayment assistance, and much more.

there are allot of car sale places that will do that. You will not find large scale dealers that will. The people who will take your credit usually prey on people like you and are happy to sell you a car. They will however rape you with interest.

Sure there are alot of crooks who will take your money charge you a crazy interest fee and set you up with a flooded out half past dead vehicle.. Buy here pay here lots, nobody turned down lots, all the same, they feed off the poor and weak minded..
Be careful

WFS financial. You can google the specifics. They have been the best auto finance company I have gone with ever, including the good credit companies. Thier representatives are polite and coordial as well as patient. Their billing options are also fairly flexible.

Yes there are bad credit auto loans online for people with a poor credit history and low FICO scores who need transportation, and need a fresh start in repairing their credit. Although it may seem hopeless if you have blemishes on your credit there is a solution. First you will want to get rate quotes from various sources. This is very important, you should shop around to find the best deal. However, keep in mind that there are different<!--factors at play with each lender, as to whether or not you get a loan and if so at what interest rate. You can get approved for a auto loan.
But lets be clear, obviously you are not going to get the preferred interest rate on a car loan that a person with A+ credit will receive. However with a little research, especially online, you can find the best auto rate quote that meets your circumstances. Most people just dive head first into the auto financing process when-->buying a car, giving no thought to how the auto loan interest rate affects the overall cost of the vehicle or monthly payment. With no plan of action or alternative financing source, this results in them receiving high interest rates and high processing fees which lead to high monthly payments.

If you have a bad credit history still the loan market place is full of lenders who are ever willing to offer you a fresh loan. But you should be meeting some conditions laid down by the lenders. Loans for bad credit people are in fact easier to get then they were ever before, thanks mainly to cut-throat competition amongst the lenders. Lenders are giving loans to the bad credit people who have late payments, payment defaults, arrears, county court judgments or any credit problems. These loans are available for any purpose like home improvements, purchasing a new or used car of your choice, for wedding and holiday tour, debt consolidation or for paying child’s tuition fees.
Every lender in approving loans surely likes to see if the bad credit borrower has sufficient capacity to repay the loan in timely manner. If the borrower earns well, has regular bank balance, has been an employee for some years and has a convincing loan repayment plan in place, then the lenders do not usually hesitate much. So ensure that you have adequate repaying capacity before applying for a loan. Also, you should first check your credit report for any errors. If your credit score is too low then you would be charged a very high rate of interest. So it is advisable to first pay off some easy debts to improved credit score and then you should apply for loan at better rates.
Yes, you definately have options available to you. Checkout thsi site for more information:

Where can I get a bad credit auto loan without phonecalls from dealerships?
Aug 20, 2008 by thinkpink82981 | Posted in Buying & Selling
I'm interested in a private loan company that specializes in bad credit auto loans. I do not want the type of loan where they refer you to 20 different dealers. I already have a vehicle in mind through a private seller. How can I just get a bad credit auto loan that has no referrals for dealers???
Thanks
Scotts Lisa, you're a SCAM artist! Let me guess you're in Nigeria too, right??
Your best bet is to try a couple of online lenders. I have used lendingtree.com before and they were very good. You fill out one application and they shop it to 4 lenders who are likely to approve you. If Lendingtree does not get an approval, go to capitalone.com or drivetime.com.
I stress to only go to Drive or Cap AFTER applying at lendingtree. The last 2 specialize in bad credit loans, and will hit you with a higher interest loan. If Lendingtree cannot get an approval, they are the next-to-last choice. Last line of options is the buy here/pay here lot.
Try the online soureces firts, lets see how they work

Since you have bad credit, you can go to a local Credit Union. See what they are offering. Also try Bank of America. They have super attractive rates for good credit. So they likely have reasonable rates for you.
Also you can give the VIN number of the car you have in mind & whatever price you & Seller agreed. That will make sure you are not directed to the Dealers. The banks usually don't unless you ask.
Good Luck.

Bad credit auto loans?
Nov 03, 2008 by rhondadopp | Posted in Buying & Selling
Does anyone know of a good company to go with for a bad credit auto loan in South Georgia? Need a auto now and don't have good credit and no money for down payment. Is there a company that can help us?
Our bad credit is not that we don't pay our bills. There are two people with the same name ,both in the military. One is retired. The other person's non payment of his bills has been attached to our credit. We have worked really had to get most of his information off our credit report but still haven't been able to get some off as fast as others.
NO. We're in a recession. Far to many banks and lenders have already gone under by making high risk loans to people with bad credit. When the MILLIONS of high risk people recently defaulted on their loans, these banks and lenders lost all their money and ended up bankrupt.
No lender today will take a high risk chance anymore. Your credit history shows you are not responsible. So nobody will fund a loan for you.
There are predatory "lenders" that may be willing to take a chance on you. But these thieves will charge up to 99.9% APR ! You have to make a payment every two weeks and if you're a day late, they'll repo the car. If you go with one of these places a $12,000 car will cost you $40,000 by the time you pay it off !!! Over 330% more than the actual selling price. And they don't send reports to the three credit bureaus ... unless you default. Then they send them the repo notice.
There are a good many people still living in Fairy Tale Land. They still think lenders are begging people to borrow, even if they have bad credit. They need to wake up. We're in a recession caused by all the loans made to high risk people that have gone into default. Your chances of getting approved with a primary or secondary lender with credit and no down is 0%.

Bad Credit Auto Loans Do I Have To...?
Jun 15, 2007 by Jenny R | Posted in Buying & Selling
Hi, My credit is bad and I've filled out a few applications on line but I always get responses from dealerships - I want a specific car and none of the dealerships that respond back are places that carry the car (Yaris). I keep getting referred to Kia or Hyundai...are there any places that will give me a loan I can use at different dealerships?? Or will the Toyota dealership work with me/find a bank that will finance me, even with my bad credit? Thanks
Rule of Thumb: When you have a low credit score, you will need to come up with a higher down payment to get a car from a traditional dealership. Meaning you will need to come up with 10-15% down payment of the entire price of the vehicle before GMAC, Honda, Toyota, etc, will give you the vehicle. Why? Because you're a high risk of non-payment and they'd just have to pop the car and try to recoup the losses.
What is it about the Yaris that you need? Hell I'd love to have a Viper but I know that right at the present time I cannot swing that sort of payment even though my credit score is enought o get me one.
Why not think about just getting the next best thing, prove yourself on your payments for a year or two and then try them again. You will need to establish that you're an acceptable risk once again.
