METH SEIZED: On March 5, Investigators William Elrod and Scott Pulliam were patrolling about 11 a.m. on Noble Road in Carlton looking for Thomas Max Hubbard Sr. to serve him with a felony parole violation warrant. The officers drove behind a white Dodge car with South Carolina plates and upon running the tag number, the car pulled into the Carlton Grocery.

Pulliam then noticed that Hubbard was driving the car. The officers saw the car leave the store and travel back down Noble Road, where they activated blue lights and siren. Instead of stopping, the car increased its speed and swerved from side to side on the roadway, during which time the officer noticed the driver throwing items from the car.

The car drove to Paoli Road and turned onto River Road, where it stopped and the deputies exited their unit with weapons drawn. Hubbard was assisted from the car and placed in handcuffs.

A woman in the car said that Hubbard had swallowed “two eight balls” of dope.

I have a 1999 Honda accord non-vtec 2.3L it has a seized engine,can i put a vtec in without a lot of trouble?

I just need a little honda accord engine 101 if any one can help me out. I have a 1999 honda accord DX 2.3L 4 cyl standard trans. What can I put in that somewhat easily for an engine, and whats the difference between vtec ULEV and non ULVE and how do I know if a JDM motor would work? I am so clueless...I know I sound kind of stupid, but I swear I'm not an air head! I just need a little direction here. Thanks alot.

i cant speak of accords but i know when u swap vtec for nonvtec in civics, there are some sensor connection issues. in the civic engine d16y7 and d16y8(vtec) the only diff in the engines is the head/valves. u might want to check out honda-tech.com and hondatuningmagazine.com to see if they can offer u some good insight.
what is with that guy always bashing on hondas. look guy, they are assembled here in ohio. american cars: gm-owns big chunk of toyota. ford owns volvo, big chunk of mazda. chrysler owns chunk of mitsubishi. its not like anything is pure america anymore. i feel your fervor to buy american but the truth is , nothing is totally american anymore.

The popular perception of Hondas and other Japanese vehicles is that they last forever, always run right and never break. Obviously, this is a myth. Now you want to spend all kinds of money and start rolling with the "fast and the furious" morons. Give me a break. You are really wasting your valuable time... Just junk it and get an American car, unless you're so deeply lost in fantasy-land that tunnel vision has kicked in.

I bought two old Honda 350's and the engine's seem seized. With a rebuild on the engines will they come out ok?

I am working on a Honda 350 cafe racer and need to be sure that one of these two engines will work after a rebuild.

Never any guarantees, because we don't know why they stopped running in the first place but Honda builds good engines. and at least one of the ones you have should be rebuildable.

The old Honda 350 cc motors were almost bullet proof. If the block is sound, (not cracked or warped)
the rebuild should go well. My favorite Bike was the 350 CB. If the block is seized pour some Marvel mystery oil into the spark plug hole and let it alone for a day or two. Then carefully work the crank back and forth until it frees up. You may get lucky and not have to bore it out just a little honing.

How much is a 79' Honda Odyssey FL250 worth with a possibly seized engine?

While taking down a tree while working, I noticed the neighbors had an aged, but not beaten Honda FL250 sitting next to their garage.
I didn't assume it was worth much since it was sitting outside with some bicycles stacked against it and lots of weeds growing between the frame and body.
After inquiring about the sale of it, the man told me about it, and noted that the engine was frozen.
According to him, it worked when he bought it, used it for a year, parked it after a use and a week later it would not turn over at all. From that point on, it sat for another year until now.
It's a two stroke so I suspect he might have used raw gasoline instead a mix.

How much is it worth in the state it's in?

If it were a later model 350 Odyssey with suspension, it would typically be worth $800 to $1000 in an area with sand dunes nearby.

The older unsuspended models aren't worth much at all, even when they're running.

Even a good suspended model won't sell for much unless you've got a suitable riding area nearby - if you're in the woods and all the trails are tight, they're not much fun!

Can a seized aluminum motorcycle engine be disassembled without further damage?

I am having a hard time looking for a rebuilt crate engine for my 1982 Honda silverwing gl500i.

I think I’ll need do disassemble the engine to see which parts I need if I cannot find a new engine.

I have searched many websites and have had no luck, only to find parts sold separately.

Were might I find a place that would be useful?

There are a couple of things to try when it comes to stuck engines, 1. PB Blaster by Justice Brothers, spray in the spark plug holes and let it sit for several days {keep it saturated} then try an impact wrench on the clutch bolt with the transmission in 1st gear. This gives you some mechanical advantage over the rust. Or try www.sportwheels.com for an engine.

How do you unsize a small Honda type engine, such as 4.5HP-say an 11HP?
