“Since 1945, U-Haul has built a long and proud history of relocating Americans,” said U-Haul President of Phoenix Operations John “J.T.” Taylor. “While recent economic conditions may have played a role as to where people have moved, our customers continue to rely on us to provide affordable services at convenient locations, which makes moving easier and more economical. This has the additional positive effect of reducing the amount of carbon emissions released into the atmosphere and saves our customers money.”
The ranking reflects destinations for movers traveling more than 50 miles, and considers every city in the country, regardless of size. However, the data is not stated as a percentage of population and is not reflective of overall growth.
The 2011 Top 50 U.S. Destination Cities Report was compiled from more than 1.6 million U-Haul truck transactions occurring during a recent 12-month period.

I get all four tires replaced at Americas tire co. then barely drive the truck for a week. The following weekend I take a trip from Tracy to San Ramon (30-40min drive), before I got to an uncles house I noticed a ton of smoke coming out from behind the front tire, my brakes are starting to fail and my steering wheel is rocking back an forth. I get to my uncles and pull the wheel off to find that bearing grease was shooting out from in between the rotor vents onto the inside of the wheel and all over the rotor, calibers etc. My lugs on that wheel were very loose and I first suspected that Americas tire didn't torque the lugnuts. I called them brought the truck in and they tell me there is no way they could of caused it, the manager said my bearings went out which happens to these trucks allot and said they couldn't of done anything wrong to cause what happened.
My wife noticed the steering wheel rocking and truck acting funny the day after the tires were replaced but we dismissed it and drove to San Ramon anyway.
Anyone familiar with the hub assemblies on a Ford Explorer please let me know your thoughts, I am still battling with Americas tire to get them to own up to it and fix the problem.
If the wheel was not on tight that could have caused vibration and worn the bearings faster for sure.
The 94 4wd Explorer has inner bearing and outer bearing assemblies that get pressed into the brake rotor and the wheel mounts to the brake rotor on the front.
Not saying they caused it, but saying "no way" they did is false, imho.
Next time anything feels wrong, stop right away. This could have been much worse. Bearing failure could lead to locking up one wheel, leading to strong jerk of car in that direction, leading to possible loss of control and possible accident.
